Favorite but scary moment

Once this game scared the crap out of me.

I took my character into a cabin once(I was lighting all the fireplaces)while nothing was happening and all of a sudden Jasons name appeared as if in battle.I was like "what the hell?"nothing else changed to let me know he was around so I looked for him everywhere in the cabin.Nothing.Maybe a glitch so I was going to the exit and as soon as I got to the door(*BLAM*).You know that loud noise when he appears.We started fighting but him showing up at the door startled me so bad he whooped me badly.
It only happened to me once and I thought it was cool that he just appeared in a random cabin with no kids in it.Its liked I walked in on him.

Has this ever happened to any of you guys?
