Conversation with Rebecca Miller on DVD

If I have time, I always like listening to the actors talk about their roles. There was something about his conversation with writer/director Rebecca Miller that I could not tolerate. After a while, it just seemed to be everyone lauding everyone else ad nauseum. Kyra Sedgwick did a bit separately as she couldn't join Rebecca, Parker & Fairuza. Anyway, interesting to a point, but enough of, "you were great when you did this," and "wasn't it wonderful how this scene turned out?" and on and on. Zzzzzzzzzzzz!

I agree with you. I enjoy hearing about how people approach their roles, things that were difficult or unexpected when filming, like they had a planned way to shoot a scene or approach the part that just didn't work once they started, and they had to try a different approach. THAT stuff is interesting. But this devolved into everyone congratulating each other (and themselves.) Not interesting, and nauseating.
