australian tv networks suck!

I can't believe that yet another fantastic australian show has been axed by the evil network heads! What a waste of great talent!

I agree totaly. TPTB simpley *can't* cancel on us, they've left *far* too many loose ends. We need a telly movie or two; a la Giddion's Island, at the very least. Does anyone know how one might complain over this heanous "decision" from NZ?

I think it's sooo unfair, I've finally found a good aussie tv show and they go and axe it! It's because all of these STUPID reality shows are taking over... Always Greener was so good, you can relate to the characters too. Stuff that happened in the show is a reality and most aussie shows don't do that sort of thing. I'm really going to miss it...

OMG! I did not know this! I LOVE Always Greener, it's just finished it's 2nd season, right? well over here in nz i haven't heard any of this news. This sux!

all the networks suck now. But channel 7 may as well be called the axe network!
HAD IT WITH REALITY TV!!!!!! Can we please bring back decent dramas!
Since the free trade agreement went through they've been budget cutting left right and centre. Think its time to move overseas!

i loved the show too *sobs* they cancelled it because the stupid writers ran out of story lines... hmmm others shows are on forever... two years and they're stumped... :S

hey why don't we aussies start a petition to get the shows rights back and then it's all up to the creators/actors so we might get someone else to blame

You know what, why not, and not just the aussies, but every country in the world!! I believe Always greener is watched by everybody!!! :) Its one of the best shows ever!

I can't belive that shows like Always Greener, that are absolutely great are getting axed while cr*p like the biggest loser and home and away keep getting air time. there's so few good shows on, and then shows that were good like mcleods daughters have to sell out to appeal to the stupid american audience so tehy can afford to keep making them.

I feel your pain, the show was so good. I've been watching season 1 on dvd over the weekend. It's funny, well written, well acted, realistic, etc all of the above. Best aussie drama.

I believe they cancelled it because they wanted to make a mini series about the Azaria Chamberlin case...

This show really was fantastic, it was well written, witty, intelligent, funny & realistic. It's a shame it was cancelled, one of the best aussie show's I've seen. I wish it came out on dvd

I loved this show to death - the endearing characters, charming and realistic plot, truthful acting.. i could go on.

I have hated Channel 7 ever since they canned it.

Yes it is good about the DVD's but that doesn't change the fact the show wasn't wrapped up or extended.
