The plot is very close to Reservoir Dogs. This is definately NOT a film for family viewing, due to it's language and very vulgar dance sequences, which did nothing to add to the plot. Overall, I would rate the film as a good one, and especially for the fact that Amitabh does not play a superhuman in it.

This film is every thing, but not ok. Yes Sanjay Dutt & Amitabh Bachchan was really cool but others... They was a mistake. I have seen Sanjay Gupta´s work before and i love it (Aatish, Ram Shastra, Hamesha, Khauff and Jung). He is the indian John Woo. He know how to creat actions scens (with some story). But Kaante... I can not believe it. It is sanjay Gupta´s First Box Office hit film and there was soch a cheap story...
I really hope Sanjay Gupta´s next film With Deadly Dutt named "PLAN" will be orignal and he will give us what we wants from him and Sanjay Dutt.

ok to start off with, shilpa shetty is NOT THERE in kaante!!!! and wtf r u talking about Troublemaker? Amitabh sucked! others were bad???? Did you watch a different version of Kaante? Sanjay Dutt kicked as much ass as Mahesh Manjrekar did... its been his best attempt and one of a nicer remakes of Bollywood... of course its still plagiarism and I'm not defending it, but the story thats been lifted from Reservoir Dogs is an amazing one... if u find it cheap, I think I've pretty much understood what kind of "taste" you have...
