In my not so humble opinion, I think that Kelly shouldn't have gotten on the drill team. Drill teams at military schools are supposed to be trained. If you saw her, she wouldn't take her eyes off her gun, and I think thats a real sign of inexperience.

shareNot to disagree, or overly defend her, but for auditions you are not usually looking for perfection because the people are not trained. You just want someone who shows potential, whose flaws you think you can fix, and who will add something to the team.
It is possible they saw she had creativity, works hard and had learned a fair deal in a relatively short period of time. These are the people you can train well. They will pick up routines and contribute.
Then comes the other inaccuracies...
