why is africa so damn poor???

There are poor places and others have rich.But do you research for all that? Basically its a mismanagement problem. There are a lot of leaders that are corrupt and becoming problems. Which leads to instability,revolts,wars,etc.Of course colonialism was very destructive and the interference of corporations today hasn't helped.Basically the leaders need to get their heads together. Or you just need some powerful dictator that takeover and do mass investment or something.Nigeria has the most potential to lead.

They invest in renewable energy,space,tech,etc but the country is divided by Muslim and Christian.But economically Africa is the fastest growing place on earth and luxury brand are building chains there. China is investing billions and so forth. You just have to deal with the mismanagement from the leaders and the religious,sectarian nonsense.Christians and Muslims have ruined it like they always do. You also have to remember that over 3 billion people in the world live in poverty. Count this be fixed if the few weren't hoarding it?Over half of Mexico live in poverty but has the richest man in the world. American capitalism has been a disaster on the world. And poverty is increasing in US also. So if the few keep hoarding money than people will revolt. Andrew Carnegie said,"The man who dies rich, dies disgraced". So hoarding money and passing it to your kids is ridiculous and will be corrected if people are pushed too far.

You ask why Africa is so poor? where do you live my friend?
They´re poor so we can be rich in our safe and cozy countries.

There may be corrupt people there, there may be a lack in education and finance, but the truth is they´re enslaved by us (governments, corporations, etc). And by not complaining about it we become accomplices of it. Instead of complaining we enjoy it since they must be in that situation to support our life style.
Are there no corrupt and dishonest people on our own countries? If we stop and think about who they are and what they can do, I don't think we'll be sleeping so well.

I don´t think it's a matter of charity and donations to them, I also don´t think we should support them or give them things (I believe that receiving things out of pity must be one of the most humiliating things).

I just think we should free them (ie: all Nigerian oil belong to US-Canadian based corporations, why? and let´s not talk about Irak, Afghanistan, Venezuela and many many other evil people), we should leave them alone so they can try and fix their own problems, I think we should stop stealing what's theirs.

I think it's time for everyone to stop messing outside their own borders and leave people and countries to write their own history.

FYI: I´m not a commie, not from the u.s. or Europe. I´m just using common sense.

To simplify: Guns. Corruption. Disease; horrible Government mismanagement, lack of Education.

Take the guns away and you solve 1/2 their problems. The rest will fall into place with some responsibility and hard work.

Every country in Africa is corrupt as hell,They do not have a clue on how to run a stable government. US aid money has no effect to make things better.
