Just finished watching Red Shadow and must say it was a pretty enjoyable movie. Can anyone think of any other movies like this one? Th eonly other one that comes to mind right away if Samurai Fiction and I think they are made the same guy.

shareZatoichi is good, as are the older ones, but not as light-hearted as this one.
Azumi is similar kind of film and 100 times better! (It'd probably be in my Top 20) I really think you'd enjoy it!
Well, it's not near as goofy (though it does have it's goofy moments) Versus is an excellent Japanese action film. Make sure you find the uncut version, though, some of the stuff they cut just looks kinda weird in the edited version.
