Why did it make a big deal of the special metal that was used for thr armour ect, ect then not mention it much and not do more with it within the film ??????

Well i figured they did do something with it...
I mean the girl died cause she wasn't wearing her special armor
and lets not forget that the big sword and little tanto dagger thing were made of the same material.[/spoiler]
So i thnk it wasn't so much the armor as it was the metal from heaven...
but that's just me.
