Ending of this movie.

What do you think of the ending scene of this film? I think it is one of the most intense i've ever seen. I mean, the music is really fantastic, the scene at the sea is touching, the colors are great, the message is good (to keep the memoirs of the beloved dead as it was during life and keep living with a smile).
In my opinion, it is the second best ending scene i've ever seen (the first is "Shawshank Redemption").
What do you think about that?

Agree pretty damn well. I loved this movie, I mean yeah it had silly aspects, but i liked it. The scene with them in the roof of the guys mansion, With all the other ninjas, reminded me of something Monty Python would do.

But i agree, The ending was intense, and well done.

I think the one movie with a close to better ending is house of flying daggers. Great!

I loved the ending so much that I recored the song to my computer. This was over a year ago and it has been my favorite song ever since.

Any idea who plays the song? I always thought it was Hotei but I could be wrong anyway.

Yes, the final song is from Tomoyasu Hotei. If you like the soundtrack of this movie, then watch "Samurai fiction", where Hotei not only made the music, but is a plays too. In my opinion, however, the final music of Red shadow is one of the best i've ever heard (together with the scene at the sea it works perfectly).

Yes I agree!! This movie is so underestimated. I am glad others have the same opinion as myself. I love this movie and it only cost me 3 pounds in the bargain bin!!!!

I loved the movie. That scene that was mentioned, when they were up in ceiling with the other ninjas-- I haven't laughed that hard in a very long time. I thought the humor was tied in perfectly.

The ending was amazing. It was moving in a subtle way. I also thought the music was especially good, I wasn't aware that it was Tomoyasu Hotei.

I loved that. I was laughing so hard. I'm laughing again just remembering it. I was hooked on the movie from that moment on.
