Some very irritating parts

Watching the film, as much as I wanted to like t, there were long drawn out moments that just ruined it for me. The fight scenes were atrocious and the emotional moments so drawn out I felt like fast forwarding it.

I watch a lot of foreign films and felt that the director didn't know how to choreograph the fight sequences.

The story concept was good and with a better action director in charge of the fight scenes could have made the film stand out. That is why Asian martial arts/action movies have a separate action director.

Sadly the tone and over done melodrama lets the story down very badly.
