Does it still air on PBS Kids stations

Recently a Chicago PBS station - WYCC - which has been airing Sagwa the Chinese Siamese Cat on Sunday mornings recently dropped the show. Do you still get it on your local PBS Kids station? It even airs on PBS Kids Sprout.

reply

I'm in Philadelphia, we get it on Sprout here. We have three PBS stations in the area, WHYY (Philadelphia), WNJN (New Jersey), and WLVT (Lehigh Valley), and I'm pretty sure it still airs on those stations as well.

We have two PBS stations here KUED and KBYU and they seem to have dropped the show from their line up.

Sagwa used to be on PBS Sprout but it is not anymore. Does anyone know why they took it off??

reply

Not anymore. It didn't air on HBO because of copyright issues. You see here, PBS lost faith in the series after 9/11 because they couldn't compete with the heavy amount of news coverage.
