Why was it on [adultswim]'s cancelled night this Halloween?
It wasn't canceled was it....it just ended right....cuz if it was canceled I'm totally pissed cuz I loved this show.

There's a difference between being cancelled and ending voluntarily. You've given the reason for the latter (ending voluntarily because Colbert was done) as an explanation of the former.
I don't think it was technically "cancelled", as that implies it was solely a network decision. Perhaps AS just likes to act as though it was so they don't have to admit it went out the best way possible under the circumstances.
