"School started at 5am, when it was still dark. So we all used to turn up to school wearing night vision goggles."

"We didn't have widescreen television back then, so if Die Hard With A Vengeance was on, we'd line up all the TVs in the street, to make it look wider."

"If you wanted to court a young lady, you'd go to her parents, and ask if you could knock her up and get her hooked on crack. Then you'd take her to a junglist mash-up - that's what they used to call drum'n'bass."

etc etc

Another one of my favourite parts was the man who was literally dying of boredom...
...The bloke who had people trying everything to amuse him.

"we tried to change his normal bus journey by getting the neighbours to re enact the Vietnam war on route"

"we've reformed east 17 for you, with Alan Shearer on lead vocals"

Etc..
