Does anyone know what the music is on the second episode, during the sketch showing the head of Bedford Water swimming through the pipes, and also the music to the sketch featuring the flight simulator run by "a mysterious man"! I know nothing about classical music but as this series on DVD just gets better with each viewing I've started to appreciate the background music more and more.
shareI think the music from the Bedford Water sketch (and the Jesus cures a hangover sketch) is from Symphony of Sorrowful songs by Henryk Gorecki. I stand to be corrected but I know for a fact that the second movement is definately used throughout the series so it probably is.
On a similar vein, does anyone know what the music is in the Jude Law's Hand sketch? It's frustrating me because I know it's a really well known piece of music, but I can't describe it to people without sounding like a tit.
Jude Law's Hand sketch had Saint-Saëns' 'The Aquarium' from Carnival of the Animals. Anyone know the music at the beginning, following the dawn chorus of anxiety so to speak??

The music during the bit about the man who is in charge of Bedford's water is by a composer called Arvo Part and is called 'Cantus in Memoriam Benjamin Britten.'
