Horrible! Horrible! Stay away from this disaster!

I stumbled across this wreck on the ABC Family Channel tonight and it was a HUGE disappointment! I am one of the biggest "original" Rudolph fans and I even have all of the toys, but I had NEVER heard of this pathetic movie.

Yes, they had decent voices that kinda sounded like the original, but...

(1) The crappy, stuttering 3D computer graphics made this look very cheap
(2) There was NO plot -- the scenes were tacked together and I kept wondering where the heck they were going with this show
(3) Rudolph looked like a zombie, because he had no eyelids!
(4) The characters had terrible shading and almost no texture
(5) Carmilla (Jamie Lee Curtis) was annoying and pointless
(6) Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus looked completely different from the original
(7) All of the songs were poorly written
(8) Yukon Cornelius had some weird shading going on in his beard
(9) Richard Dreyfus' "snowman narrator" was uninspired (WHERE was SAM the snowman?)
(10) King Moonracer was a weaker, wimpier character

I could go on... But the point is, avoid this movie. It's a mere shadow compared to the original Rudolph shows. It was completely unnecessary and will wreck your memories of the original. It was made for quick money and looks like it.

Oh, the humanity! One could only hope that great Eon would swoop down and take all of the copies to his icy lair forever. Or maybe the "Bumble" Snow Monster could eat the DVD's (or at least poop on them).

While I agree that this was a big, steaming pile of decrement, I feel I should point out that #1: the crappy animation also covers # 3,4, and 8.
By the way, thank you for agreeing with me that Queen Camilla was pointless. I just don't get why she was there. I would point out that The Island of Misfit Toys itself was pointlessly included. It only had about two scenes, one of which was unneeded and the other of which could have taken place anywhere. It was only thrown in as a cheap tie-in to the original.
