This movie is the best!!! Jacob Smith and Taylor Momsen really did a great job. Howie Mandel (The Sandman) was so funny especially the part when he was fighting with the Wood Faerie. I must admit it, this movie is the best movie I have ever seen! You people better check it out.

i wouldn't say that it was the best movie ever...just wierd! It was probably the wierdest movie i have ever seen in my entire life! Did anyone else notice that they weaved other movies into it also...like the Matrix??

I'm just wondering if it's worth to watch the movie only because I'm a Fan of Dakota's?
It's very expensive here in Switzerland and I would only buy it
to see Dakota.
Is she a lot in it?

No, the Dakota character and her brother are incidental to the main story. The main story is the fairy tale that is being read to the Dakota character and her brother, and the main story involves different children. The movie keeps cutting back to show the bedroom with the father reading the book to his children, and mostly Dakota is just seen sitting or lying under her covers on her bed, so the scenes of her are few and infrequent and mostly uninteresting (other than one frightened scream).

That's not to mention that the movie itself is almost too terrible for words. It's cliché hell, stereotype hell, fart joke hell, and in general it absolutely grates on the nerves (of adults). It looks like whoever rented the video before me came to the same conclusion because the tape was stopped early in the forest part and never rewound. Other than some cute jokes aimed at adults and a couple good effects, the movie is *so* bad that I won't even spend the time to review it.

Actually this movie is really SUPER boring because I kept falling asleep in the end> And I don't think this is a best movie ever though I haven't seen it in a long time but there is like no entertainment in it.

My favorite actresses are Margaret O'Brien Dakota fanning, and Peggy ann garer
