Funny - but the characters were waaaaay off

This movie made me laugh. It was decent enough for what it was. Not as good as the other 2, but ok.

What bugged me was the complete 180 of some of the characters. Day Day and Craig's dad were acting like they had tourette's the whole movie. Twitching, flinching, and all jump for no reason.

And Craig was similar but not as bad. Not to mention they turned him into a b!tch.

First of all, he was Craig's dad and Day Day's uncle. Second, it would indeed appear this was a new character trait of his. Is that bad?

How so? Craig was always the sensible one, the voice of reason.

Again I must ask, how are the characters way off?

Mr. Jones was still the un-hip, irrascible, yet stoic man he was in the first two films. Maybe slightly wilder this time around in terms of facial expressions and pivitol gestures. Just Witherspoon adding something fresh to his character.

Craig was still the straight one, the only sane, sensible one of the bunch. That didn't change.

Day-Day is still bumbling, self-centered and hot-headed. Always striving to do good in what he's doing, but the above traits always get in the way.

So who is way off?

Mr. Jones is not pussy whipped. He whips the pussy.

I apologize for grammatical errors- a side effect of IMDbing on my iPhone.

I've thought Craig was a total jerk in this movie and hated how mean he was towards Day Day, he came across as a bit of a bully towards Day Day IMO, he was definitely far more likable in the previous films.
