What ethnicity is Trudy proud?

Is she a very light black person,or Asian? Or white? When growing up I always thought she was a light skinned black person, but now looking back she could be anything really.

The best thing about this cartoon was the diverse ethnicity often not found in kids shows,

I remember from the episode with all the cousins, her family was black. Just from that episode I would think she's black. She kinda has a Stacy Dash or Nicole Parker look to her. She's black, but you know she is mixed with something else lol.

She's black, just light-skinned.

Yeah she's African American but light skinned. Then again, it's possible she could be mixed.

Penny clearly takes after her since she's light skinned as well.
