I tried to see who the female singer that was singing at the end of the movie but I didn't see who it was and still I can't find out who it was. I was wondering if anyone knows who it is. I would love to find out who she is because her voice is beautiful.

I recorded and mixed the music for this film, and Basil Poledouris did a wonderful job. I still listen to it 10 years later. The Beijing Opera musicians were wonderful and the soloists on the Pipa, erhu and xiao, who were well known players in their homeland, were just spectacular. Eric Colvin was largely responsible for the sequenced percussion.
We recorded in Beijing and mixed it at Blowtorch Flats in Venice Ca. The studio in Beijing was a Studio Bau:ton design with an SSL G series console. The equipment was limited but was generally first class.
Over all, the project was very enjoyable to work on and, yes, Kelly Chen sounded great I hope you found the music to your liking.
