Jeff Daniels said being in Dumb + Dumber was a mistake...

... yet he goes and makes this hunk of pond scum comedy. I just don't get this guy.

Sadly, I live in Jackson, Michigan (where this movie was filmed), and he always has these bootleg Hollywood premieres at a historical movie theatre downtown -- where all of Jackson's "elite" line up and buy tickets and then pay extra to have dinner with him at a wannabe fancy restaurant down the street. He's currently having a one-man comedy / guitar show this month, or something... so here we go again. This guy takes himself so serious that it's astonishing.

Back to the topic, Dumb & Dumber was actually a witty comedy. Super Sucker is a part of the lowest common denominator of comedy, which makes me question Daniels' logic.

Probably jealous that Jim Carrey stole the show. ;)

Super Sucker stinks.

Dumb and Dumber is a horrible film. and if I was Jeff Daniels, i'd regret it too.

This movie is terrific. I love it. It comes on cable about every day so if you get the chance catch it. This film is supposed to be stupid and over-the-top, just as dumb and dumber was, so why do people get bothered when the movies are stupid. THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE !!!!! Watch this stupid movie and enjoy.

He made Super Sucker so like everyone in the cast from the purple rose could be in a movie together, I asked Michelle Mountain (my acting teacher) who was in the movie, lol I know like 6 people in this movie!

This movie made me think Jeff Daniels was creepy. I think Dumb and Dumber was a big mistake, and it sort of ruined Gettysburg for me, which otherwise I thought was an awsome flick.

If he was trying to become a serious actor, than Yea, Dumb and Dumber is as big a mistake as making a porn. It is one of the most unserious movies I can think of. It is extremely difficult to get credibility as an actor when you play mildly retarded characters (Tom Hanks) and you drive a car that is a big fuzzy dog with wheels. Audiences just can't picture you in serious roles.

I think when he made Super Sucker, he wanted some popularity back and he tried what worked before. Which in his case was a brainless comedy.

Anyway here are the facts Super sucker Bombed big time even with daniels promoting it all over the country I worked at a big movie theatre downtown MPLS in 2002 and he was there and there were only the media that stompt it into the ground because by far this movie sucked.
