this movie was filmed in my hometown, jackson michigan, and i went to the filming one day. the crew set up their food table in my uncle's driveway and jeff daniels was nice enough to sign an autograph for me. it was really cool to have a movie filmed in jackson, but i still haven't seen it. my parents went to the premiere too, anyone else know what i'm talking about?

No, He's from Chelsea, MI and he graduated college im my hometown of Albion, Michigan. Right down I-94 from Jackson. He now lives in Georgia. His family all live in Chelsea and own a lumberyard my uncle knows them pretty well he works for Napolean lumber.

shareFor three weeks, I worked an industrial project at a Johnson Control plant in Manchester Mi about ten years ago. One of the guys there was an avid golfer, had played golf once with Jeff Daniels.
He said he would give up the game before playing with him again. After agonizing through a half hour of this "comedy" that Daniels wrote and directed, I can see why.
Yeah. I live in Jackson too. When I watched the movie it was cool because I knew where they were and everything. You would think that something like this would never happen in our town.

They used the marching band from my high school for the scene where the "bad guys" over run the neighborhood, my mom and sister are in that scene as well on the side of the street.

I am from Jackson as well. I live ann arbor now, but lived inJackson for almost 30 years. Was living on Bowen street when they were filming on wisner(was it Wisner? It was one of those streets by Queens) but couldent see anything cool going on. Was anyone else in the neighborhood when they were filming there?

I drove through the town of Jackson just yesterday. I stopped off at 'Gurby's Pie Shoppe' and bought myself a raccoon and tarragon pie. It was the worst thing I've ever tasted, and I've dabbled in coprophilia. I should've stuck to the bypass.
