Is it just me or does Rush Hour 3 feel more focused on Carter as opposed to both men?
shareI don't think so. All of the RH films are focused on Lee as all the villains in the films are from his past.
shareBut for this one, Carter got a love interest. Lee had one in part 2. Also, Chris Tucker got the higher salary (I remember it was mentioned he got $25 million) AND he was given top billing in both the end credits (which are official) and above the title on some covers. Jackie Chan was billed second.
However, I've noticed that on some editions of Rush Hour 2, Chris Tucker/Jackie Chan's names are credited in reverse. Some copies credit Jackie first, and some copies credit Chris first. The DVDs I own (the initial 2001 release and the 2007 re-release) have Chris Tucker's name first. On the cover only though. The ending credits to RH2, lists Jackie Chan first.
