You are wrong. The iconic mug shot with Mrs. Parks wearing the grey suit, holding #7053, was not taken on the night of her arrest Dec 1, 1955, that photo was taken a year later. The night she was taken from the bus, and arrested, leading to the Montgomery bus boycott -- her mug shot number was, indeed, #4739.
