I wonder how many people found out about this movie after AVGN's review

I guarentee that in my whole life, I would've never of known about this movie if it weren't for AVGN. If I saw a copy at the video store, I'd say, "Wow are you serious?" and I'd pick up the box and look at it for maybe about 10 seconds and say, "OMG, that looks stupid." and just move on and forget about it till I got home. But this definetly looks so terrible and so stupid and I can't think of another movie that looks dummer then that, I'd rather watch Epic Movie 90 times over and over again rather then seeing Ricky 1 only one time.

But damn, don't be negative, I lob AVGN.

The AVGN is awesome (though I respectfully disagree with his scathing review of Castlevania II.) Even though I am actually aware of Ricky 1 now, I would still rather watch 2 Girls 1 Cup than sit through something as stupid and pointless as Ricky.

I do feel a little sorry for the guy who played Ricky though. According to his imdb entry Ricky was his first and last movie. Stallone's first movie was a porno, but that didn't stop him from going on to be one of the biggest names in Hollywood. Liz Berkeley lost a lot of credibility after that box office flop, the soft porn Showgirls, but her career survived.

Yeah, I heard about 1st from AVGN

You should watch it before you judge it and say it's bad. Don't judge it just because AVGN says it bad. I've seen it. Yes, it's not great, but it's so bad, it's good. Honestly, I can't believe I'm saying this, but this film is better than today's parody movies like Epic Movie, Meet the Spartans, and Date Movie. Sure it's no Hot Shots, Airplane, or Spaceballs, but it's an OK movie.

I honestly had no clue of this movie's existence until I saw the AVGN's review of it. I mean Wow!!! This movie makes Gigli seem like an Oscar-worthy masterpiece!!!

I actually noticed a VHS Copy in my local video rental shop around 10 years ago. I think it's a fun movie.
