Is this the same "Razor Eaters" that launched a police investigation? If so, why did the police get involved?

FYI this is the same movie that lead to a police investigation here in Aus, apparently because they didn't liek what the movie was about and tried to stop it beinbg made. from the website: 'The Victoria Police Film & Television Office was the first of several conservative institutions to voice their disapproval of the gritty and confronting subject matter of the film. Despite the producers' consistent and diligent efforts to satisfy the department, the Film and Television Office made their objections apparent in a letter to the production'...... Musta pissed em off?!? lol
It's the year 2008, I think everyone should get over trying to ban films nowadays, don't you?
