In NYC in June 2000

One night i was taking a trip to Missouri from Boston. I was on a Greyhound bus that left South Station in Boston at 12:30am. The bus drove from Boston to NYC where i had to do a bus transfer.

But on June 1, 2000 i was wearing my headphones listening to the "Play" cd and i'll always remember the bus driving through the steets of NYC at 3:30am going to the Port Authority and i remember listening to the track "Everloving" and it just seems too perfect for that instrumental track to go along with the sights i saw on the NYC streets. Some places were open (like convience stores) and some places were closed and the streets seemed dead. This "Play" album is one of my favorites cds ever (Radiohead 'Kid A" at the top of my list).

The tracks "Everloving" and "Inside" are the 2 instrumental songs on this cd that fit so well with NYC and back when i was going to NYC alot before 9/11.

After 9/11, i connected both my trips to NY in 2000 and the 9/11 events to this cd because it reflects what NYC is. Moby also lives in NYC and i will always remember NYC and the "Play" cd that will live with me forever.
