Mr. Heston

I sure would enjoy seeing Charlton
Heston end his career with a fine
performance in a good film.

Fingers crossed.

Yes, I'm really looking forward to seeing this film, although I hope that Mr. Heston will continue to be in a few more films.

I say the same thing for Kirk Douglas, Peter O'Toole, Ernest Borgnine and a few others.

I miss Mr. Heston, I want him in another great movie, my favorite alive actors are Kirk Douglas, Gene Hackman, Ernest Borgnine, Dustin Hoffman and Tony Curtis, I hope they could be casted soon.

Michelle Pfeiffer is awesome and I want a new movie with Pfeiffer starring.

There are many posts like this on the imdb with users writing about their admiration of many of hollywood's "old" stars and their wishes, that these great ladies and gentlemen of the silver screen will make some more appearances. You'll find these posts on diffenret message boards from Ernest Borgnine to Kirk Douglas and Christopher Lee.

I share this wishes and i think that today's hollywood doesn't pay as much attention to elder actors and actresses as they deserve. I'm sure there's many of them still able and willing to work some more in the film business.

As far as Charlton Heston is concerned, i'm pretty sure "My Father-Rua Alguem 5555" is his last starring role. It was filmed back in late 2001. Mr. Heston has Alzheimer's disease since 2002 and won't be able to do some more films.

And as time goes by, we'll lose more and more of great actors like him.

I agree with you Stephen, I agree with you.

I am disgusted how Hollywood treats a lot of its stars from the older days. I've also had it with the countless remakes to classic films that Hollywood is making.

As you said, many of these older actors would still like to do films, but no one rarely offers them any good roles.

It's just plain sad.

I cannot pretend to understand the all or nothong attitude of hollywood profit mentality, when I is obvious that there are enough potential audience of al ages and colors to make older favorite actors continue to be a draw if only they were offerred roles.

I'm still looking for this film. Sort of an ironic way to end a career that was full of larger than life heroes with a real life villain.
