I think it's underrated!

I am surprised to find that the ratings are so low.
I think the movie definitely deserves more.
Some movies may take a while for viewers to get into the mood, and I believe this is necessary because then the climax will be distinct and really leave an impact.
But I have to admit this is not a movie for everyone, it's a bit slow and the middle aged characters will only attract certain audience.
Having said that, the movie is really subtle and I was deeply moved.

you make some very good points. i just watched it today, yeah, it is a good movie. i love the atmosphere it evokes, with most scenes shot with the mediterranean as a backdrop.
