Rekha's performance...

I haven't watched it in a while, but Rekha's performance was one of the most unvarnished, unselfconscious portrayals I've ever seen her give. I thought Madhuri was similarly effective. However, the thing that I remember the best, was the horrible, HORRIBLE subtitling on my DVD...so frustrating, they only bothered to give me a translation of about half of the dialogue. Only think how impressive the performances would be if I knew what they were saying!
