Ending - ** MASSIVE SPOILER **

She said "But now... I want to live", but why did she still plead guilty and refused the help ?

Is it really because "To have no place to go" ?

Obviously she wasn't completely locked up in the house since they were married, because she managed to get an abortion on that day... so why didn't she just run away ?

I completely agree....

at the very least, she could have told the judges that she didn't ACTUALLY kill her husband. It's like she was suicidal, but we don't know why. At all.

I mean, he could have come after her and tracked her down if she ran away...but she could have gone to the police for that. Even after he killed himself she could have just ran away then. She could have feigned ignorance and told everyone that she came across him as he was dying. I don't understand any of her actions, which makes it hard for me to like the movie and to find it believable.

I don't know what was in the woman's head but I guess she suffered a lot from her dead husband for long time.So because of this she doesn't want to live because of the torture she got.In the film there is mentioned about her amnesia for which sedative dizepam was given to her. This means her life was hell and she couldn't sleep well.So later even though because of love of the lawyer she had desire to live but still the memory of life with her dead husband was still haunting him. Also even if she marries the lawyer but still her past will haunt her and even make the lawyer's life miserable. So I think she thought it would be better to die then to live with the haunt for the rest of her life.sorry for my bad english.
