Geez, like old home week for a 50% Portuguese, 50% Brazilian from Newark NJ -
unfortunately being 4th generation American - speak, v good but read, write not so much!
Normally not big on foreign flicks (esp French) but this hooked me as I was just planning on surfing thru to another movie...
due in no small measure to Jean Reno, who's excellent in so many things (eg. Ronin, & 'Leon' in The Professional).
Maybe it's cause he's of Spanish ancestry and close enough to be a kissing cousin?
Love the line (paraphrasing),
"it's only a sad ending depending on where you stop the movie.."
Fun movie w/fast moving, insightful dialogue, will watch it again to pick up on some missed lines and brush up on my Français.
