Well I would just like to say that my sister, my aunt and I were in the movie "Dark Blood",with River Phoenix. It was fun working with such talented actors in this movie. Some of the seens in this movie were filmed in our home town, which is in Zuni Pueblo, New Mexico. Many people dont belive me when I tell them but we have the pictures to prove them wrong. It was a shock to my family to hear about his death from a drug overdose, he did'nt look the type. we send our prayers out to his family and to him where ever he is in heaven. I would like to say that it was an honor to work with River Phoenix in this movie. I hope one day this movie will be put out in the theaters.

Why would someone lie about a dead person?! I don't believe this person is lying, but if they are they are scum... the lowest scum of the earth for lying about something like this.

I can't wait until July 16th, 2005!

I hope you have wised up in the six years since you've posted this, because people lie about anything and everything. I had a friend tell me her mom died, her sister died, her brother AND her ex husband. This was all in the three year period that I was friends with her. It wasn't like she told me they were dead when we met. No. She killed them off one by one in her own little fantasy world. They're all alive. She completely made up every death. Even crying over a couple of them. The world is full of sick, twisted, f@cked up people. Not saying this applies to the OP, but it does apply to at least 3 out of every 10 people on this planet. And that's being optimistic.

This sounds like some of the people I've known. They were full of sh!t, straight up liars.

True. A few months ago one of my ex-coworkers sent SMS stating that he died. I didn't bought it, but didn't want to investigate either. A few weeks ago he called me, then said that it's not him, but his brother (even given me a name!), and that he died on a post (although he attended the school for a "special" children and couldn't possibly been taken to an army/war)... Turns out he needed a phone number of a guy we worked together with (another liar), even came up with an idea that I called him and that "brother" decided to call back to figure out who and why have been calling (he even came up, on a fly, with an excuse why he still had that number: his "brother" left SIM-card home before going into army, which is ridiculous, but whatever). Truly sick and twisted mind.

Also, I guess you are completely right for such a high ratio as 3/10. I really would've wanted to know what is going on in those people heads, but I guess it is impossible due to obvious reasons.

I'm sure its very very possible! I believe him, the movie was filmed there!

I think the reason why it didn't look like he was the type is because River was clean and sober at that point. it was when he went back to LA on Halloween that the drug was brought up, and he made the decision to take it.

Yes PLEASE post them....put them on a free site or something and put think link up. We miss River! It would be nice to see some pics if you're telling the truth. And if you're lying about this its not cool because its claiming to have been w/ a dead person and using a dead persons fame for your credit so i hope to god you're telling the truth.

Exactly!He's a fake!He should know that the movie wasn't released in theatres...he tries only to get attention and that's it...what an a$$hole!!!

LOL, he played a minor part in a shoe string budget movie, do you really expect the guy to know the ins and outs of the production process? Often extras don't get any info like that whatsoever, i've done walk on parts on Dutch TV - They don't even tell you when they air it.

So his story still holds up, why must people always dismiss everything out of hand.. It could very well be true, then again it might not. Its up in the air.

OMG!!!!!!!!! i the BIGGEST fan of River Phoenix and adore him dearly, and you actually worked with him! if you actually have pictures to prove you were in the film can you show me and then i'll believe you. i'm sorry but its hard to believe that you worked with the one and only river phoenix????????

Sick? Addj, FYI, Mobius is commendably considered to be one of the sweetest people who post on here River's Board declares this to be so. She has a large fan base and a greater following. Dont you know this?

How old are all of you? You bicker back and forth like teenagers. How about honoring River's memory in a different and more respectful manner.
