This game seems pointless after SSBB came out

It's not that fun anymore.

Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul-Billy Madison

I haven't played Brawl but that's how I felt about the original N64 Super Smash Brothers after Melee came out. I played Melee at a friends house and bought the original because it was the only thing I had enough money for and it just didn't deliver compared to this one after playing it first.

There are still some classic parts of Melee that would have done well to transfer to Brawl, but didn't, like character-specific Target Tests, certain unlockable characters (Roy is my favorite SSBM fighter, it's a shame they picked Ike over him. Plus, is Ness REALLY good enough to turn back into an unlockable character?), and the Adventure Mode sidescroller (sure, Subspace Emissary sort of renders that obsolete, but it still had its moments).

I rather liked Baines. We shared the same bootmaker.

I found many aspects of melee that were still fun. I got brawl a long time ago and just recently bought melee. Mewtwo young link, the adventure mode are a few thing missing. Lot of stages like Great Turtle Bay and Fourside aren't in brawl. Besides the fighting styles are way different. Both are fun and are completely seperate games.

Having played them all, Melee is still the best.

Let's be bad guys.
