BEST CHARACTER ON THE MOVIE

It s hard for me to name a best character in the movie,at first I d say the doctor, but he really doesn t count because he s more of a narrator, the guys that captivated me were the surfer who needed to pay a debt and the guy of two wifes,I really forgot their names. The first because you gotta feel sorry for the poor bastard, besides the raper he s the most unlucky one, besides hes kinda funny, and the second because he s smart and manages to live trough it all and take care of his famlies.Other good character is the one that hesitates when he s about to satb his friend and seeks God,and finds him in a certain way.If anyone has a different opinion please express it.

I agree with you mainly on Majestade, the guy with two wifes. He´s great, and his story is really nicely told on screen. But overall I was a little disappointed with the movie, because I expected so much more from it. The actors are great, some of the sequences are really good, but in the end I lft the cinema with a bitter feeeling of beeing let down.

Majestarde is the Brazilian Denzel Washington...does anybody else agree???

the best character in the film is 'Dalva' the blond woman of Majestade, his first wife.i like the scene whereby she quietly crept into the bedroom, light up the matchstick and set fire on the bed while her hubby and 'Rosirene' his second wife(the black woman) was sleeping together. she started hurling vulgarites at Rosirene in front of the fire. but the part where Dalva confronts Rosirene on visitors day and where Dalva hold a black boy in her arms while she walk down the spiral stairs was awkward.Dalva should have hold tanned boys instead of black boys since she is white and her hubby is black.doesnt it seem weird that her sons are totally black?those are the mistakes in the scene.and the part where Dalva and Rosirene bitch about each other ...it was very racist as they used words like 'white trash' and 'stinking black bitch'

I liked Sem Chance, the short guy who married "Lady Di" the best. He is very humble and kind.

Best character was Ebony. He was respected by all the inmates and even by the prison director too. Ebony was fair and saw the inmates as his family.

I would have to to say Ebony and Dagger were the best characters. I like how towards the end Dagger realized what he had be doing all this time. was bad. He finally felt guilt!

I'd have to go with HIGHNESS, he was always so happy and juggling two ladies and a *beep* load of kids was just amazing! Even trying to get away with that *beep* in prison on visit day!

Wht about dat job i did for ju in Freedom Town Da Rebenga hit, wht was dat a game of dominoes, mang?

Majestade! he was a cool guy, not as perturbed as Zico or Peixeira. I think he didn't kill anyone outside. Albeit he had to do it in the jail in order to save his own skin. Besides he is a funny dude who got two very hot chicks from Both flavors: Vanilla (Dalva) and Chocolate (Rosirene).

I think he is one of the most likeable characters alongside with "Chico", "Lady Di" and "Sem Chance" (No Way).

Dagger. Why is he not in the cast? Or is Dagger just the English translation?

Dagger is the translation of Peixeira.

Here :

Milhem Cortaz ... Peixeira

Peixeira is a big knife that fishers use to cut fish.

- He moves his lips when he reads. What does that tell you about him?
