Was Clint offered to appear in the movie?

In respect of Almeria, Clint Eastwood started there his long bejewelled way, and the film it's almost a eulogy to his person.

I wish like to know if he was offered to appear in the movie. In Spain, the original actor did the dubbing, so it was quite real. I don't know if Clint did the same.

clint was offered to appear in the movie, but he was'nt available.

Actually, he was directing Mystic River. According to De la Iglesia, they even offered to travel to L.A. to shoot Clint's scene, but no luck.

In spite of being unavailable Clint Eastwood's said to have seen the movie... and liked it.

I heard it was Clint Howard who got the offer.
