does it all take place on the same night? how does h find the places to go in one night, it would take me weeks to find all of the places where he goes, does he make appointments or something to go to the places he visits?

shareIt's a tv show, I'm sure there are people that do research for it. It's not like they drop Dave in a city and say "good luck Dave". And yes, I'm sure for some of the places he goes he has to get the OK beforehand. You can't just show up to some of the places he goes without making an appointment or getting permission before he goes there.

Yeah, a lot of the stuff looks planned, except of course for some things, like when he stops people on the street and talks to them.
