Actually Roach, the show was never cancelled. Dave decided to end the series because it was getting too popular. He couldn't go into a bar with his camera crew and talk to someone without people swarming him. Dave even said in an interview that people began handing him demo tapes like he had connections in the music industry. Anyway, since being a normal guy just hanging out in bars and talking to people was the basis of the show, Dave decided to end it. However, since no one has ever heard of Insomniac outside of the US, he said that he would do Insomniac specials in other countries.

thats interesting and it makes sense. by chance do you know when and what interview he said this in. im interested in reading it. i didnt really think of it quite like that. thats oodus for the info.

Thats where you're Wrong oodus347, I Live in the UK and I am a Huge Fan of this show, it was on TV Late one night on one of the Channels over here and I was Pi$$ing myself Laughing at it. The only Thing was, it didnt last for Very Long and it was on early in the morning (2am) and I Suppose they Cancelled it over here. So I only Saw a Few Episodes.
About a Year ago I Went to Florida and I Looked in the Virgin Megastore and I Saw The Insomniac DVD there and Bought it Straight away and it was Frikkin Hilarious! and I Recently went to New York with my College and I Bought Volume 2 and Watched it on the Plane home.
Is there anywhere where I Could get a Stand up DVD of Dave Attell? has he even Released one? Because his Stand-up is Amazing.
