...Why was he used so little on this show? He seemed like a pretty big deal to Billy and Mandy in the original short and yet we only see him in an early episode for a brief second and is only mentioned again in a flashback in "Billy and Mandy Begins".

He was just a framing device, you know a reason for grim to appear in the first place.

I get that, but they still could've used him more on the show. He was a bit more interesting and entertaining than Billy's cat and Mandy's dog, IMHO.
