Best Joke on the Show...

I only need to say this:

"They drove over the speed limit like an angry woman.
They caused property damage like an angry woman.
Oh man... an angry woman."

The show wasn't always a classic, but when it hit it harder than any other cartoon I've seen. That song may be the funniest thing I've seen on television. I have no idea why, but it is. I could be dying of colon cancer after learning all of my pets, friends, and loved ones died in a horrible fire when my favorite couch spontaneously combusted, and that song would still make me laugh. That's my favorite, at least.

The Raven in a smoking vest, always clutching a goblet, who shouts all his lines is a thing of comedic genius.

"If 'ifs' and 'buts' were candy and nuts we'd all have diabetes."

reply

I have to agree with that.

Billy and Mandy was truly a program of subtle genious.

The references to Dune make me giggle like a child. And there are a good number of them.

To be honest, the entire episode with Billy and Lord Byron was just good all around. The dune reference, the girl who was constantly getting her stuff broken, Sperg's mom, and Billy kissing the ever-living crap out of Mandy just straight out of the blue. The fact that they also were able to use the phrase, "I'm your huckleberry" is just hilarious as well.

The payoff for slogging through an hour of boring is never worth it.

What about Puddin? That kid with the red hair. The best was the one with the skull granting wishes. And he wished for a bunny, and it had that eerie voice and it tried to kill him? Loved that.

And Dracula. Can't forget him.

reply

"Hey kids, wanna see Dracula dance?"
or
"Billy: Why, Grim? Why do the good die young?
Grim: Well, usually because I get confused. "
or the whole picnic thing.
"Grim: Oh no no no no no no no no. No. You remember what happened last time when you went on a picnic?
[Flashback to Billy, Grim and Mandy at a picnic in the park] "
and Yogi bear as a junky, had me in stitches.

One of my favorite jokes was when the principle has a conference with Billy's parents telling them that they're concerned that Billy's I.Q. is -5. And they say "Why, whats wrong with -5?" the principle replies:"Well we tested a shovel and two candy bracelets and they scored a 10."

XD lawl!

My pesonal favourite is from the episode where Billy turns his wading pool into a portal, in the outro Grim lands in this japanese bading house, surrounded by two guys. One of the guys fades and Grim turns around to the other one and says something like: "Don't worry, he'll make it another six weeks."
