Did anyone stop watching this show when Fred Fredburger was introduced?

I loved "Billy and Mandy" when I was a kid. I loved the show when it was originally called "Grim and Evil" (although I only liked the "Billy and Mandy" portion of the show, hated "Evil Con Carne"), and I enjoyed the show when it became its own spin-off.

But then, I started noticing the show starting to change around 2005, and certainly not for the better.

Then they started adding all of these new characters, like Fred Fredburger, and that's when I quit watching this show.

Even though I haven't watched the post Fred episodes, I've heard that, unlike Baby Dil and Kimmy from "Rugrats" or Poof from "The Fairly Oddparents", Fred Fredburger was not a bad character and he didn't ruin the show.

Did anyone else quit watching this show when Fred Fredburger was introduced to the show?
