What happened to the missing girl?
I'm pretty bad with movies; I zone in and out of them, I have an awful attention span. But was any info about the girl he initially went looking for extended? I want to know what happened to her. :S

it was a macguffin, meaning only a plot device that lead to a bigger picture i.e being held hostage. after all why would a GTA cop try tp investigate missing persons?
shareHe intended to investigate as a favor to his neighbor. According to the movie, Connie, the neighbor girl was forgotten and never found. It was left undone by the writers/director. I found this disconcerting. I know we like things tied up nicely but this was just left hanging

There's no reason to think that the girl was "never" found.
For one thing, she may even have turned up while the cop was being held captive.
But, for another, the movie only spans a couple of days, and so, even if still unaccounted for by the end of the movie, there is not necessarily any foul play.
