alternate ending?!

i personally feel the movie would've ended so much better if he gets the option to get the green card, but instead marries that chick and returns to india.

it feels like that would be a more "cultured" ending rather than the generic oh boy he's going to get a green card, MAYBE. i mean he's an honest chap, why would he want some crap in the states?

if we are to respect him it would make sense for him to go back home, amend ties with his father again to a respectable level, and stick to his roots.
