Do you prefer the book's ending or the cartoon's?

In the book they never resolved the whole end of the 9 lives thing, Garfield's space adventure was what, a video game he was trying to beat? I think I prefer it here where after he uses up his 9 lives, he's asked which life he was on so he can be sent back and he says it was his first and he and Odie get 9 more lives. How about everybody else?

In a rare case, I actually prefer the film's ending. That being said, the book is better where the stories were adapted, but the additional tales in the film (especially Diana's Piano) are all worth watching.

I know, my favorite in the book was the Babes and Bullets one, but that got its own separte, more kid friendly cartoon. Another favorite of mine was the Magic Garden segment, I always wanted to live in a place like that, but as a kid I could sure NEVER read the writing in that story. I also wish in the cartoon they could've had the 3 Stooges exterminator story that they had in the book, I always loved that one too.
