Viva la revolucion!

An excellent educational documentary about a great inspirational story.

We all know too well what the US propaganda feeds us about Cuba on a daily basis. But this time we get to see the much less publicized "other side", the "untold story" of the revolution and of Fidel.

One must acknowledge that the revolution came as an immense achievement for the people of Cuba at the time, who were being oppressed by a violent dictator backed by US interests, while their country was being abused by international companies and used as a base for the US Mafia. The history of Cuba goes on to show just how much US has ever truly cared for human rights.

The revolution proved such a popular success at the time that the US felt terrified at the prospect that it would quickly develop and soon be in a position to be able to offer assistance and serve as an example and inspiration to other Latin American countries, and in fact countries all around the globe, and result in the spread of socialism, freedom, equality and justice in an area where US had heavy capitalist interests. As a result, the US has made it a matter of principle to prevent Cuba from realizing its true potential at all costs, rampantly trampling all ideals of humanity, backed by cheap incessant propaganda, and to this day stubbornly continues with its blockade of this little but brave country. Another blatant display of this US policy of sabotage is the attempt to lure people out of Cuba and to the US by offering them money and citizenship in order to facilitate brain and talent drain, tactics designed to once again impede the development.

The story of Cuba is a story of a country that despite everything the US has done to detriment its development, is still standing. It is the story of a tiny nation bravely standing up to a giant tyrant. Cuba is truly an inspiration, and a remarkable example, with profound historical lessons.

Fidel will surely die one day, but there will be thousands of new minds all around the globe that will take up the cause, and continue the fight for freedom, equality, and justice! So, start your revolution today, and make a difference for this world, and contribute to a better, fairer, happier future!
