Personally I don't really get much out of the Bollywood films that I've seen, but for the OP to try to whip up a "Vote 1" campaign is just daft. Fair enough if he thinks that's what it's worth, but an organized block?!
Even though I don't get this film so much, I'm really glad that more different genres/languages etc get the profile of being in the top 250, so that people like me get to find out about something I wouldn't have come across otherwise. Its about keeping an open mind. The top250 is after all just a reflection of what the diversity of IMDb users like, not a competition to see who can get their favourite film to the top of the pile.
I came to this message board, knowing they're would be things like this thread, and 'Keep The Indians Out". So predictable. So stupid.
Voting for a 1 deliberately to undermine it's score is what's ruining imdb too.
I totally agree that voting a 1 to bring a movie down is USUALLY an *beep* sort of thing to do, but in THIS case I feel it's the ONLY thing to do when the movie is SO clearly overrated! I mean it's just laughable how clear it is! Anyone who's not massively biased toward Bollywood and Aamir Khan can plainly see.
