How did you feel about Jake?

I absolutely loved Brick and was really disappointed when he died. Therefore I didn't like Jake very much because he seemed to be a cheap imitation, not only as Becky's love interest but also as a Killarney farmhand. It also seemed like Becky moved on to Jake so fast, as though the show couldn't wait to put her with Jake. However if it wasn't for Brick, I'd probably like Jake a lot more.
