Who wrote and directed their videos?
Did Adam Jones write and direct all of the Tool videos? Were any directed by the Quay brothers? Can someone explain this?

I came here to find out that exact thing. Watching the Brothers Quay short films DVD right now.
It looks like Adam Jones has a history with models and stop motion. He has worked on some great films, and YES looks like he directed these videos! He is my new hero.
You can tell the dude worships quay though :) Not a ripoff, just a homage.
Yeah... his work on the videos is quite impressive. It's more surrealist and less abstract than the Quays stuff, but you can see the influence.
I wish I could get the Tool videos on DVD but I can't find it anywhere... :(
