This movie was very good, but i really hated the part with the little who was singing all the time inclunding the night. She was irritating, and she was preventing all the other kids from sleeping, and the nice mother encourages her to keep singing by bying her a stuffed animal, seriously. It was supposed to be a touching scene, i found it ridiculous.

Accents don't bother me much. Neither did the little girl.
And the mother gave the girl the lamb to basically shut her up. She just found as pleasant a way as possible to tell the girl to keep the noise down. I guess it worked.
Then you won't be surprised that the same little girl actress, Jodelle Ferland, wound up playing the demon child in "Silent Hill," hee-hee. She's actually very talented and memorable.
