Has anyone played the E3 alpha?

A little choppy, but probably the next Half-Life. This is the scariest demo I've ever played!

No, Half-Life 2 will be the next Half-Life. Don't worry, it's going to come out for sure. September 30th, 2003. Check out the PC Gamer article. It looks *beep* amazing.

Half-Life 2 hadn't been announced when I wrote that. Both of them have my strict attention! Its been 10 years since Doom and 5 since Half-Life, and they both look to blow the originals away. 2003 is going to be the best year for the FPS since... well, 1998 with Half-Life!

Oh god this is priceless... You know how cool it is to see people so excited to play games that are almost as old as me? (18) like it's pretty cool seeing the rumors that were going around back then
