Well its another bad Aussie movie..Crackercrap

Well this movie had received a lot of hype..but again I am left disappointed (still no Aussie blockbuster or funny movie for me for a while.

The only interest for me was the Call Centre scene early in the movie which was filmed at my previous place of employment ( I was there at the time). Always weird seeing that on film.

Mick Molloy was his funniest on the Late Show....His humour is a little to guttery for me..a fat slob who you either love or hate. A few other late show and panel members in the movie.

I gabe it a 6/10..but would not watch again.

Well dont read my clutterings. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Thats the beauty of an opinion. And who were the panel members (Judith Lucy...Tony Martin they have never appeared on the panel have they???????? oh you only know the regulars). Maybe I should have said D Gen members........

I dont get offended by a difference of opinion. But rather than provide your insight on what makes the movie good, you attack the person not the opinion.

I really dont care if anyone cares about my opinion. You are always welcome to comment on it.

I stand by my view that it was overrated. Unlike the Dish and Hotel Sorrento, this was a disappointment (and made by same crew). And you obvioulsy missed the uncredited cameo of Tommy G in the movie.

I mean this in no offence to the movie or any Australian movie but.... It was made like most Australian movies just for a lighthearted laugh not to be analysed criticly and judged. I find it one of the funniest movies I have seen in a while. I seriously considered taking up lawn bowls but the mind of a 15 year old girl told me not to.

I really loved this movie light hearted funny but with some quite deep underlying themes. I could go on forever but like most aussie movies there is a lot more going on than appears to be.

I found it highly amusing.

Most Aussie comedies are at least decent. 'The Castle' is one of the funniest I've ever seen.

Thats pretty unfair...I thought this was a great movie. Sure, its a bit sentimental, but it had plenty of laughs. And bit of a surprise to see a famous Kiwi in it too...Clarkey, otherwise known as Fred Dagg!
